2026 LCMG Winter Gardening Fair Registration

The event will take place on February 21st, 2026 at the Kirkwood Regional Center located at 1770 Boyson Road in Hiawatha. Early bird tuition is $75 for the day long event or $42 for high school and college students. After January 2nd, tuition will increase to $85. Tuition includes morning refreshments and lunch. DIY classes have additional fees for materials.

Where did you hear about the 2026 Winter Gardening Fair?*
Purchased tickets can be canceled for a 50% refund (minus processing fees) before January 31, 2026. There will be no refunds after January 31. To cancel and request a refund, please notify us in writing at garnets@iastate.edu with “WGF Refund” as the subject line. Refunds, if applicable, will be based on the actual fees paid and returned (minus processing fees) to your original payment method within ninety days. You may also transfer your registration to another individual at no cost by February 10. To do this, please notify us in writing at garnets@iastate.edu with “WGF Transfer” as the subject line. Please note, if you transfer your registration, the new participant will assume your registration and will not be able to customize class sessions. Due to the unpredictable nature of weather, we are unable to provide refunds if severe weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances necessitate the cancellation of the Winter Gardening Fair. Please consider your registration fee a donation to the Linn County Master Gardeners program, supporting our efforts to provide research-based gardening education and fight food insecurity. In the case of severe weather, we will send out announcements through the Whova app AND registrants should watch for updates on KCRG's weather cancellation page.*

Unclaimed merchandise will be held at the ISU Extension office. Items must be picked up during regular business hours. The items will be held until the end of the day on March 20th, at which point the item will be considered forfeited.
