Scoring Rubric: For each statement below, indicate how strongly you agree with the assertion. You should submit a separate Scoring Rubric for each team in each match (i.e., 4 Scoring Rubrics if you are judging 2 matches).
Scoring: We expect most teams will score somewhere in the middle of the range (i.e., between 4 and 8), and that the scores for all of the teams competing in front of all of the judges will fall on a bell curve around a score of 6. You may get team/s that is/are unusually strong or unusually weak, and if so you can give them scores outside of the middle of the range. In order to properly distinguish between all of the teams, however, we ask that you reserve scores outside the middle of the range for unusual teams.

Each team will be told whether they are in the top scoring teams that will advance to the next negotiating round. However, teams will not be told their individual scores.
Team Ranking: In the space at the bottom of the form, indicate your ranking of this team amongst the 4 teams in the 2 matches that you are judging (with 1 being the best). Rankings will be used in the event of ties based on the Scoring Rubrics but will not be disclosed to teams.
Feedback: Students appreciate substantive feedback. In the feedback session after the match, please comment on their strategy and understanding of the issues as well as on their style.
Law School Anonymity: Law school names and coach names are not provided to judges. Judges may hear the names of individual teammates but should not hear or ask about names of schools or coaches.
