  • Public Safety Officer-

    The City is seeking motivated candidates for the role of Public Safety Officer, a unique position that performs integrated police, fire, and EMS functions. The objective of this role is to protect the city’s residents and property by delivering comprehensive public safety services—responding to emergency calls, rendering aid, investigating incidents, and completing accurate administrative and incident reports. Applicants must hold at least one of the following at the time of application:

    Texas Basic Peace Officer (TCOLE), or
    Texas Basic Firefighter (TCFP) and Texas EMT certification
    The department covers training for the remaining certifications.

    Exam Info:
    Eligible candidates will take the National POST written exam followed by a physical agility test (pass/fail).

  • Assistant Director of Finance-

  • Maintenance Worker Parks-

    This position supports the maintenance and operation of city parks, open spaces, and related facilities. Working under the Parks and Recreation Manager, the role performs general maintenance tasks, assists with basic repairs, and helps care for landscaping, irrigation systems, trees, and turf areas. Responsibilities also include litter and debris removal, restroom and facility cleaning, event setup and takedown, and responding to emergency calls. The position may assist with water, sewer, street, drainage, and facilities maintenance when needed. It is a non‑supervisory role that involves some interaction with other city staff and the public.
