Los Angeles County Democratic Party Application for Consideration of Endorsement and Candidate Questionnaire

For all candidates applying for LACDP endorsement in a 2026 municipal election. If you are a candidate for: Los Angeles County, City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Community College District Board of Trustees, Los Angeles Unified School District Board, certain Water Boards/ Replenishment Districts, and offices that overlap more than 4 Assembly Districts, you must ALSO fill out the Supplemental Questionnaire (linked below).
To ensure full consideration of your questionnaire, please have your application in by Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 5pm. Filing after Wednesday, March 4, 2026 by 5pm may endanger your consideration for endorsement.

IF YOU ARE A Los Angeles County, City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Community College District Board of Trustees, Los Angeles Unified School District Board, certain Water Boards/ Replenishment Districts candidate YOU MUST ALSO COMPLETE THE SUPPLEMENTAL QUESTIONNAIRE.

After submitting this form, please pay the appropriate NON-REFUNDABLE fee via ActBlue or by mailing a check.

$75 for LOCAL races outside the City of Los Angeles

$150 for the following races: Los Angeles County, City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Community College District Board of Trustees, Los Angeles Unified School District Board, certain Water Boards/ Replenishment Districts, and offices that overlap more than 4 Assembly Districts.

This fee may be reduced by $1 for each Democratic voter registered within the immediately preceding three (3) months from the date of the endorsement recommendation meeting, up to the entire fee.

Application must be accompanied by payment of an administrative fee of $75 for races outside the City of Los Angeles whose jurisdictions include no more than four Assembly Districts, or $150 for races within the City of Los Angeles, Judicial Races, or whose jurisdictions include more than four Assembly Districts.
