Booking Confirmation

An invoice for 10% of the hire fee will act as a bond.  This will be sent to you as a confirmation of your booking.

The bond is used as financial protection for Rowing SA in the case of breaches of the terms of the agreement and will be returned in full after the event, as per our terms and conditions.

For all pontoon shifts, there is detailed information provided after the option selections.

Starting Pontoon

The starting pontoon is located at the 2000m mark (southern end of the course - Trimmer Pde end).

Hiring the regatta course, includes the use of the starting pontoon.

• The pontoon requires 4 boats and 10 personnel to move to a new position.
• The time taken is approximately 120 minutes for 2000m to 200m starts.

The extra cost is $515 per shift.

When the hiring group is able to provide 4 volunteers to assist with the shift.

If no volunteers are provided, the pontoon shift is $770.

There is an additional cost for each pontoon shift that is required.

 No waste management provisions are available as part of any booking with Rowing SA. This is an additional requirement to be booked directly with the City of Charles Sturt Council.

• All waste management - bins and extra event bins
• Reserve hire - Northern Reserve and Oarsman Reserve
• Traffic management - parking requirements
• First Aid - This is part of your risk managment plan with the Council  - First aid is not provided by Rowing SA

Terms and Conditions

Please upload your Certificate of Currency below.

Any hirer conducting the sale of Goods and Services, filming or photography, or utilising contractors responsible for erecting temporary structures,  must also provide copies of their Public Liability Insurance, as required in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

No marquees can be erected before checking with Rowing SA due to hidden underground pipes.

Rowing SA may require to complete some additional work.  This will need to be settled after the event.  This will comprise of a labour charge of $40 per hour, per person.

This form will be used to create an invoice.  This invoice will be adjusted for gst (if and where required) and this form may not be the final and total amount payable.

Under section 42 of the Liquor Licensing Act 1997, it is a condition of every licence that the licensee complies with the Commissioner’s codes of practice.

These Guidelines are issued under clause 16 of the General Code of Practice. Failure to comply with a provision in the General Code of Practice (General Code) will be a breach of licence condition and may result in an expiation being issued, disciplinary action or prosecution against the licensee, responsible person and/or other persons in accordance with the Liquor Licensing Act 1997 (the Act).

Any offence will be passed onto the hirer.
