Where applicable, I confirm that I am, or will become, a full-time student for the proposed tenancy and authorise House Hunt Selly Oak Ltd, the Landlord and/or their appointed representatives to verify my student status.
I understand that any proposed tenancy is subject to satisfactory completion of the relevant pre-tenancy requirements. These may include identity and Right to Rent checks, references, affordability and credit checks, student-status verification and satisfactory guarantor arrangements, or another arrangement agreed by House Hunt Selly Oak Ltd, such as an approved rent payment arrangement or university sponsorship.
I authorise House Hunt Selly Oak Ltd and its appointed providers to verify the information supplied in this application, obtain appropriate references and carry out reasonable identity, tenancy, affordability and credit checks relevant to my application.
I understand that House Hunt Selly Oak Ltd may use my personal information for assessing and administering my application, setting up and managing any tenancy, complying with legal and regulatory requirements, and dealing with matters reasonably connected with the tenancy.
Where reasonably necessary and lawful, relevant information may be shared with the Landlord, local authorities, tenancy deposit schemes, referencing or guarantee providers, utility and communications providers, inventory providers, contractors, maintenance providers, insurers, professional advisers and other organisations involved in setting up or managing the tenancy.
Personal information will be processed securely and in accordance with applicable data protection law and House Hunt Selly Oak Ltd's Privacy Policy. Information will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to meet legal, regulatory, accounting and legitimate business requirements.
I understand that House Hunt Selly Oak Ltd, the Landlord and/or their appointed representatives may contact me by email, telephone or text message in connection with this application and, if a tenancy proceeds, the administration and management of the tenancy.
I understand that submitting this application does not constitute an offer of a tenancy or create a tenancy agreement. Any tenancy remains subject to satisfactory checks, agreement between the relevant parties and completion of the required tenancy documentation.
