  • 2025 TRYOUT REGISTRATION

    Please fill out the form below for registration. Once submitted, you will receive an email at the email address provided to complete registration payment (please allow up to 24hrs for confirmation email to arrive). Tryout fees are per player, and cover attendance for both tryout days. Early Registration (registered by Saturday, 10/25) : $20 in advance, $25 in person. Late Registration (registered between 10/26 - 10/31) : $25 in advance, $30 in person.

  • Pre-Tryout Requirements:

    1) Using the USAV 2025/26 Age Definition Chart (found below), determine your players age based on their date of birth.  2) The purchase of a USAV and/or AAU membership will be required in order to participate/tryout.  Memberships can be acquired through the CHRVA and AAU websites (one or the other is sufficient).

  • What to expect during tryouts, and what to bring:

    Please bring a copy or picture of your USAV/AAU membership. It is highly encouraged to wear knee pads and to bring a water bottle.  Tryout Process: Upon check-in, players will be given a number to wear on their back. This unique number will be used to identify them throughout the tryout process.  Evaluation Process: We do our best to conduct the most thorough assessment as possible during the tryout process. Points of emphasis that will be taken into consideration include but are not limited to - attacking and blocking skills, agility and speed, serve, serve receive, court IQ and awareness, position knowledge, leadership, willingness to learn, enthusiasm, teamwork, etc. We will select 10 to 12 players for each team. Each team will consist of 1-3 setters, 2-3 libero/DS players, and any combination of roughly 5-7 hitters. These allotments allow us to implement structured lineups, with variation possibilities. Practice player positions are considered on a case-by-case basis. Verbal offers can be made during tryouts, however most offers will occur after the conclusion of tryouts. Please be patient while waiting to hear from us! Once an offer has been made, players have 72 hours to evaluate their options and accept or deny an offer. This grace period is required by all clubs, so please take your time when accepting any potential offers you may receive. After the offer is accepted, a contract will be emailed to you.
