THIS GUARANTEE IS LEGAL AND BINDING AND WILL BE PURSUED IN A COURT OF LAW IF THE TENANT INCURS ANY DEBT TO THE LANDLORD DURING THE PERIOD OF THE TENANCY AGREEMENT, AND ANY FURTHER DEBTS TO THE LANDLORD AFTER THE TENANCY PERIOD.

Declaration

I hereby agree to be answerable to House Hunt Selly Oak Ltd / Landlord for any and all rent reserved by the tenancy agreement which the above-named person (the Tenant) shall be liable to pay to House Hunt Selly Oak Ltd / Landlord. I shall also be answerable to House Hunt Selly Oak Ltd / Landlord for any other duty under the tenancy agreement for which the Tenant shall be liable. I agree to House Hunt Selly Oak Ltd / Landlord carrying out any necessary credit/referencing checks.

The Guarantor hereby agrees with the Landlord that he/she will pay to the Landlord all rent due from the Tenant, which remains outstanding for more than 14 days after the payment date, and will reimburse the Landlord’s reasonable costs and expenses incurred as a result of the Tenant’s failure to comply with any of the Tenant’s covenants or obligations in the tenancy agreement.

Any information provided to House Hunt Selly Oak Ltd is used in connection with any current or potential tenancy you may be involved in with us. We retain your personal data while you use our services (or while we provide services connected to you) and for at least 5 years thereafter from the date it was provided, for legal, regulatory, and accounting purposes.

If you are a current or potential guarantor, your data may also be shared with third parties such as contractors, the council, utility suppliers, the landlord, or any other party relevant to your tenancy solely for communication purposes. Should you not wish for your details to be shared with contractors, the council, or utility suppliers, we will require written communication to confirm this.

All references to the Landlord herein shall be deemed to include the Landlord’s agent or any person authorized to act on the Landlord’s behalf.

This Guarantee relates to the tenancy agreement and any extension or renewal of it and is not revocable during the term of the tenancy agreement or any extension or renewal of it.

If you wish for us to terminate the holding of your data at any time, simply let us know in writing and we will do so. This will end any communication of services we can offer you. Your data is stored safely and securely with House Hunt Selly Oak Ltd. By signing this agreement, you confirm you have read, understood, and accepted our privacy policy.
