Tuesday April 21st: Day 1 of Competition

Wednesday April 22nd: Day 2 of Competition, Awards Ceremony

Thursday April 23rd: CE Classes

Competitor Check-In for this event will be during the Meet & Greet Reception.

INSURANCE

REQUIRED LIABILITY INSURANCE NAMING NCSMC AS ADDITIONALLY INSURED

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO COMPETE or sit for CE classes IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE PROPER CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE (COI) TURNED IN TO NCSMC.

Please contact your insurance carrier, (AMTA, ABMP, MMIP or the like) and have them add "North Carolina State Massage Championship" as an "additional insured" on your current "certificate of insurance.", download the certificate and upload below.

IF YOU ARE A STUDENT: with AMTA student insurance and have not graduated, you or your school will need to contact AMTA to get the additional insured rider put on your COI or have a letter from your school saying that NCSMC 2026 is a sanctioned school event for you in order to use your student insurance without a rider. If you have recently graduated massage school, you must acquire NEW massage insurance. You will not be allowed to use your student insurance.

Copy of your liability insurance: AMTA/ABMP or the like

Insurance Certificate naming NCSMC as additionally insured. Yes, this is separate from your general liability insurance, (required above).

Photo Release

I hereby grant the NCSMC permission to use my likeness in a photograph, video or other digital media (“photo”) in any and all of its publications, including web-based publications, without payment or other consideration.

I understand and agree that all photos will become the property of the NCSMC and will not be returned.

I hereby irrevocably authorize the NCSMC to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish or distribute these photos for any lawful purpose. In addition, I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of the photo.

I hereby hold harmless, release, and forever discharge the NCSMC and its associates from all claims, demands and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate have or may have by reason of this authorization.

Furthmore, the NCSMC gives you permission to download or share any photos posted. You may use them as you wish for personal or business advertising. We actually encorage sharing of NCSMC posted photos!

Rules and Regulations Agreement

I understand that failure to comply with these rules may result in corrective action, which could include verbal correction from the judges and/or the Director, and may lead up to possible disqualification or expulsion from the event

Are you mentally, physically, and spiritually able to both give and receive massage therapy from another professional or massage student?Please list all sensitivities, allergies, medical conditions, current medications, and any surgeries within the past two years.

All sales and registrations are final. We do not offer refunds for any reason, including but not limited to scheduling conflicts, illness, travel delays, dissatisfaction, or change of mind.

If you are unable to attend or participate, your registration or purchase may, at our discretion, be transferred to another qualified individual or applied toward a future event, if notice is given in advance and written approval is granted.
