• Girl Scout Bronze Award Final Report

Troop leaders fill out this form to submit your Junior girl scout(s) Bronze Award Take Action project! Approval of this form means your girls have earned the Bronze Award.
  • Helpful Reminders:

    1. Girl Scout Juniors in the 4th and 5th grade are required to spend at least 20 hours each completing a take action project to be eligible for submission.

    2. The Bronze Award project must be completed and the Final Report submitted by
September 30th of the year your girl scouts finish 5th grade.
    3. The project must be completed and Final Report submitted by February 1st in order to be recognized at that year’s Honors Day Ceremony. Our Honors Day Ceremony is our council wide celebration honoring all of our girl scouts that have earned a highest award.

    4. One time donations, collection drives, and volunteer hours for an organization will not be considered for approval. They can be an aspect of the project but not the main project itself. Take action projects are meants to be a girl scout group coming together with a unique answer to a problem in the community.
    5. The project might not finish up as planned —this is okay! Girl Scouts earn the Bronze Award as long as they meet the award requirements.

  • By signing below, we (girl, project advisor, parent/guardian, and troop leader/volunteer) agree and understand that the Bronze Award Take Action Project:

    • It cannot solely benefit the Girl Scout community
    • It cannot just a collection or donation drive
    • It cannot be a fundraiser for another organization
    • It is not simply volunteering time for another organization in an already existing project

I, Girl Scout Troop Leader/Volunteer, have reviewed the above Girl Scout Bronze Award Project Final Report including answers to the Take Action Project questions. I am aware of the requirements and guidelines of the Girl Scout Bronze Award set forth by both GSUSA and Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee, and believe that this project aligns with those requirements of each girl scout completing 20 hours of service towards their take action project.
