    Please read all the Market Rules and Regulations and be sure you meet the requirements before completing this application.

    Application deadline Friday, February 6, 2026 (5p) EST

    Applications received after the deadline will automatically be added to the waitlist and not considered for a permanent spot.

    Application reviewed early February with selection announced end of the month.
    Mandatory Market Meeting the first week of March 2026 (Date and location TBD)
    Opening date is scheduled for Saturday, April 4, 2026 (subject to change)
    Summerville Farmers Market is scheduled to operate on Saturdays April 4-Nov 21, 2026

    Summerville Farmers Market Committee will make consideration based on the following criteria.

    A.      Past participation and adherence to rules/regulations.

    B.      Past participation attendance.

    C.       Farmers with over 50% self-grown / harvested crops vs resale opportunities 

    D.      Uniqueness of merchandise and sale items.

    E.       Event footprint and space use requirements.

    F.       Comply with all applicable fees, local, state and federal business regulations.

    G.      Authenticity proof of concept or marketing / sales history

    H.      Application thoroughness with details.

    Farmers Market vendors do not have to be a DREAM Community Partner.  Community Partnership is only required for DREAM events such as, Third Thursday, Christmas Parade Market, Sweet Tea Fest, etc.

    This application is for the 2026 Summerville Farmers Market ONLY. Summerville Holiday market will have a separate application and will be provided mid-year for consideration. Participation in the Summerville Farmers Market does not guarantee placement in the Holiday Market.

  • Sales Items

    Provide a complete list of products and items for sale. BE SPECIFIC, if the item is not listed it will not be permitted for sale at the market.

    In addition to the list below, Farmers and growers will be sent a supplemental sales form. This form will be sent to the State of South Carolina to highlight specific resale items that are subject to sales tax.

  • Farmers: 

    Items produced/grown on by farmer/artisan will have priority placement.  Items purchased wholesale and brought to market will only be considered in local “out of season” months.  Proof of compliance will be required.  Items not grown on your farm and out of season locally are limited to 50% of product.

    All farmers are required to disclose in advance, on their Farmers Market Application, what produce they are intending to grow themselves and sell at the Market and what out of season produce they are intending to buy and resell at the Market.
