2026 Annual Conference Student Involvement Form

KSBA is once again accepting applications for student performers at our 2026 Annual Conference. These performances are always a highlight for the 1,000+ event attendees.

KSBA seeks a variety of student entertainment acts during our general sessions and meals.

We are also looking for a student/students/student organization that would like to lead our student-led devotional service on Sunday morning.

Individual schools represented at our conference will receive a $500 donation from KSBA for their student support services.

All submissions must be received by Jan. 9, 2026. Groups will be notified of acceptance by Jan. 16, 2026 to allow time for travel arrangements.

The times listed above are for conference sessions during which students will perform. These times do not include student performer arrival times, setup times, etc. Participating districts are expected to arrive at least 30 minutes in advance of session to allow enough time for warmups, setup and final walk through of event details. Performances generally ocurr near the beginning of the assigned session, although this can vary.)

Audiovisual/Staging Needs*

KSBA and the event space can provide the very basics, such as a singular power source and/or an audio plug-in for a keyboard. The stage can also be set with 1-2 wireless handheld microphones, and/or a basic choral microphone setup, however such requests must be made well in advance. Additional A/V requests made on the day of the conference cannot be honored. The participating district is responsible for any equipment or instruments it brings. Any accompanying music track(s) must be provided in advance in a digital format (MP3). We are unable to play CD's or plug into external devices such as iPhones or laptops.
