Teams wishing to participate in the 2025-2026 SCEDSL State Cup must register before Sunday, November 9, 2025. A Head Coach MUST RECEIVE prior approval from their Regional Commissioner before registering. Any Head Coach submitting a team registration attests that they have received prior RC approval, will satisfy all tournament referee requirements, and meet all tournament criteria outlined in the SCEDSL Guidelines and State Cup Tournament Guidelines (RC or EXTRA Coordinators may register teams on behalf of the Head Coach). Referee requirements will be confirmed once the tournament game schedule is confirmed; however, teams should anticipate needing to provide a fully certified 3-person referee crew (consisting of at least one person that will Referee and two Assistant Referees, ideally certified to cover the age division in which registering for). Section Directors and the SCEDSL Program Administration Team have the final say on whether a team's registration into the State Cup will be accepted.
A Tournament Registration Fee of $250.00 will be billed to your Region.
The teams selected for the SCEDSL State Cup must register for the State Cup. The number of teams chosen for a division will be based on the number of flights and teams from the regular season. Final standings will play a significant part in team selection. The format will include a small number of play-in games to determine the final few selected teams for pool play. After pool play, a series of single-elimination rounds (quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals) will take place.
