FUNDRAISING & PROMOTION

Volunteers are an integral part of our organisation and donations are an invaluable source of funding without either we would not be able to do the work we do.

As a volunteer you will be expected to do some fundraising on your own merits, we ask that every volunteer helps to raise a minimum of £100 per year.

We also ask that each and every volunteer helps to promote the rescue, the dogs in our care and the work that we do.
MEDIA / SOCIAL MEDIA

During your time volunteering, you may be photographed / videoed, or asked to take pictures / videos all footage will remain the charities property and may be used to promote the charity and the work we do, you must get the charities permission before posting any photos / videos on social media

If you wish not to be part of any promotional images / footage you must let the charity know when you start to volunteer.
Your PRIVACY RIGHTS

Any data you provide will be use by LUOSKO German Shepherd Dog Rescue to best place you within our organisation.

To Help us better understand our supporters and to tailor our communication with you, we may analyse the information you provide. We sometimes use information from public sources.

We may also ask if you are willing to share your story, to help us show other people on how volunteering helps with the care of our dogs and in our local community.

If you've provided us with your email address, we will contact you in this way with marketing we believe you will be interested in, unless you tell us not to.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

I understand that the dogs will remain the property of LUOSKO German Shepherd Dog Rescue and volunteers are allowed contact with the dogs entirely at the charities discretion.

Some of the dogs in our care may be agressive or have aggressive tendancies, therefore it is imperative that instructions are followed at all times to ensure the safety of everyone including other dogs on site.

Bad language, insubordonation between volunteers & staff will not be tollerated and you may be relieved of any volunteer duties with little or no notice.

The carrying and use of mobile phones at our rescue centre is prohibited unless authorised to do so by a member of the senior staff. Mobile phones and any other such devices MUST be left in your vehicle or the lockers provided.

Persons refusing to do basic tasks in the way they are shown or told to do so will be removed from our volunteer list unless there are mitigating circumstances.
