Donations & Travel Expenses

For all confirmed speaking engagements, we ask for a tax-deductible donation to the Korematsu Institute to make our national education work possible.

Suggested minimum donations for speaker honorarium

Notes about suggested minimum donation amounts

All donations are tax-deductible and support the work of the Fred T. Korematsu Institute.
The amounts above apply to both virtual and in-person events.
Travel expenses only apply to in-person events.
The suggested minimum donation amounts allow us to further our mission to promote civic participation and education that advances racial equity, social justice, and human rights for all.
If your organization can contribute more, your donation will benefit our educational programs and enable us to accommodate speaking requests from organizations with insufficient funding.
If you are unable to meet the minimum suggested donation, we recommend seeking an event sponsor or sponsors in your area, such as local companies, community foundations, law firms, or parents (e.g., for schools).
