• Sinner | The Triarchy Collection

    ARC Team Application
  • A spicy sapphic dark romance full of murder, control, obsession, and a dash of humour.

Artemis Moreau is known for two things. The respect she has earned as the Chair of the Parisian Triarchy, and her obsessive devotion to her wife, Toulouse Delacroix.
When Toulouse is torn from Artemis grasp, that devotion turns deadly. She hunts, burning through everyone who had a hand in her wife's disappearance. But the trail leads somewhere far bigger than a simple abduction and getting Toulouse back may cost Artemis the very organization she's spent her life protecting.
Some sins are worth damning yourself for though...

SINNER is the third book in The Triarchy Collection—interconnected standalone novels written under C.C. Davie's dark romance pen name, Chaos Davie. This dual POV instalment ends on a HEA.

The Triarchy Collection are all spicy sapphic dark romances and intended for an adult audience. Please see C.C. Davie's website for a comprehensive list of content warnings and read at your own discretion.

  • Please Note:

I have seen a bit of discourse over readers not understanding why authors need all the links from their returning ARC readers and I wanted to explain why we do this. For some of you, you have filled these forms out for me dozens of times over the years. I know... it's a royal pain in the ass. But... it goes into a generated list that I can then automatically send out info to for each campaign. 90% of the time with my return team members, I see you... do a lil wave... and send you on through to the next stage without having to check your links. For my new readers... welcome! I am so grateful you decided to jump in with the rest of my lovely band of miscreants. Pull up a stool and get comfy.
  • What is an ARC?

This is an advance reader copy of a book, received before publishing date to read and review. It helps authors get word out about these exciting new releases... and gets readers a first peek into these new worlds before everyone else! I personally love interacting with my ARC teams and seeing — in real time— their reactions. Publishing a book is an odd experience. You pour your heart and soul into the pages, hit release... and then wait. Annnnnnnd.... wait. ARC teams are a chance for us to keep a finger on the pulse and see how a book is being received. You are all incredibly valuable to us, and your time is greatly appreciated.
  • What is expected of me?

When receiving the ARC, I ask that you read and review before publication date on your preferred platform. If life happens, and you find yourself unable to do any of this this, please just message me and let me know. I promise I don't bite. Unless I am asked nicely. Acceptances will be announced by 1st Sept and those accepted will receive an email with graphics, hashtags, dates, links to the ARC chat (the chat is not a must - but I drop in teasers and chat with readers in there) and anything else they might require. The dates for this book is TBC because there are some very exciting things happening behind the scenes with this series, BUT I promise you will have PLENTY of time to read and review.
  • Ebook or Physical?

For this ARC run it is exclusively ebooks.
  • Is Sinner for me?

This book is dark and spicy. It's very sapphic — all the spice in the book is strictly FF, and it covers some heavy topics. Just like Sadist and Savage, Sinner has some trigger warnings that I want you to read through properly, and please feel free to message me if you have questions with concerns around any of them.
  • This book contains some very dark things.
I would classify Sadist as 'grey' Savage as 'light grey'

Sinner is getting real close to black... maybe dark grey. closer to black.
    She's a lot.

We have the normal dark romance delicious little additions of:

    • CNC
    • Light Somnophilia
    • Knife play
    • Free use
    • The use of violet wands, pain play, restraint, straps, toys and Artemis generally being a feral little demon thats down BAD for Toulouse...

      But we also have:

    • Abduction
    • Torture - heavy
    • Religious trauma (past)
    • Familial genocide (deserved ish)
    • Homophobia

This is not a light little book and if any of these are potential triggers, please do not request this ARC
