Hollywood Stars DANCE! Co. Auditions!
Competition team is limited to no more than 30 dancers to ensure they get the quality attention they deserve. There is a $25 fee per student to register for auditions. This will be applied to your July team fees. Please make the fee via cash in envelope or via Venmo to Sara-Rieth. There is a $300 annual retainer fee that saves your dancer's spot on the team. Monthly fees include access to all classes, Summer-Winter Monday night choreo and Summer Tuesday technique/acro. Ages 7-9: $115/Mo Ages 10+: $130/mo (Costumes, props, poms, practice gear, competition fees, shoes, makeup, etc. not included in team fees.)

PETITES: Ages 7-9 = 11am-12:30 (required parent meeting at 12:30pm) -------------- LEVEL ONE: Ages 10-18 = 12:30-2pm (required parent meeting at 12:30) --------------- LEVEL TWO & THREE: Ages 10-18 = 2pm-4:30 (required parent meeting at 2:00) Practices begin the week of July 13th. Dancers will have technique/acro on Tuesdays and choreo on Mondays and Thursdays depending on which dances they are put in.
Level Information: Proper technique required in order to level up.
PETITES: should have a single pirouette, cartwheel, backbend, backward roll, leg extension and front leap on right and left. Splits encouraged. ------- LEVEL ONE should have the above PLUS a perfected single pirouette and coupe turn on both left and right, and should be familiar with working on toe touches, coffee grinders, and splits. -------- LEVEL TWO: should have all of the above PLUS perfected double turns in pirouette, coupe, a solid single back and front attitude turn, backbend with leg extension, at least one full split, and at least 3 of these tricks: Back or front walkover, backbend kickover, front handspring, aerial, roundoff toe touch, coffee grinder jump, axle jump, Calypso, a la secondes, Firebird, leg extension front and side. ------- LEVEL THREE: Should have all of the above requirements PLUS working on triple and quad turns, MUST have a la secondes, Leg Extension turn, Butterfly jump, Switch Leaps, Switch arabesque and MUST have at least 5 of the tricks mentioned in Level Two.
