  • Overview: Per regulation § 205.406 of the National Organic Program, a certified operation must renew their certification annually. The renewal for certification includes updating of forms, paying certification fees, an on-site inspection of the operation’s practices and procedures, and a review of all information by the certifier.

  • 3. Organic System Plan (OSP) Update:

    OC has provided you access to the current approved OSP on file through our new database - SupplyTrak. You received a welcome email and you can view the doucment once you log into your portal. Use of this document may assist you with the next steps regarding your OSP.


    All Crop and Handler scope clients are required to complete an updated version of the OSP during their renewal process. A link was provided in the Renewal email sent to you to download the electronic versions of the new OSP documents. 

    At this time you have a choice of filling out the electronic documents, or you may want to look into using the QuickOrganics application which will asssist you in filling out your new OSP in a fraction of the time, as well as support your recordkeeping needs for your certification. The application will guide you along the way, skip sections that are not applicable, and indcludes a virtual assistant to help clarify topics when you need assistance. 

    Ensure to verify the following items as accurate: 

    • Sites/acreage
    • On-site production practices
    • Products/Crops
    • Materials in use (cleaners, sanitizers, health inputs, fertilizers, pest control, etc.)
    • Facility maps and flow charts
    • Changes in labels, formulations or suppliers.

    Review the current copy of your NOP Organic Certificate and OC Site and Product Addenda to ensure the items listed are accurate.

  • If you have indicated that your Organic Certificate or Addenda requires changes, please select the type(s) of changes required below:
  • If you are adding/removing a crop site(s), you will need to update your Sites List. You will need to provide a Site Information Sheet and Site History Affidavit for each new crop production site, and submit through your SupplyTrak client portal.
