EVENT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- Weekly Tuesday Newsletter: Submit by Friday at 11:59pm PT.
- Weekly Thursday Video Roundup: Submit by Friday at 11:59pm PT.
- Paid Promotions: Submit at least 7 DAYS PRIOR to your event (2-3 weeks recommended). Slots fill fast, SUBMIT EARLY TO GUARANTEE AVAILABILITY.
All deadlines are subject to availability. If spots have been filled prior to the deadline, no additional events will be added, EXCEPT in the event of a promotion cancellation. Late submissions will not be considered for that week.

Process:
- Submit your event for inclusion in our weekly newsletter, video roundup, or paid promotions.
- Due to the amount of submissions we receive, BLK Events LA will only reach out to confirm paid promotions.
- Should you select a paid promotion, BLK Events LA will confirm, schedule a posting date, and send an invoice for you to pay directly.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a curated events platform & a limited number of events can be featured, meaning we cannot guarantee all submissions will be included.

Lack of inclusion can be due to many factors–including, but not limited to:
1. Paid promotions being filled for the week in question.
2. Newsletter and/or video roundup spaces being filled for the week in question.
3. Event submissions missing necessary info, like a clear concept, or flyer with the title/date/time/location.
4. Events determined by our staff to be unsafe or inappropriate. Decisions on this matter are at our discretion.
5. Events that do not center the Black community.
Brand Partnerships: Are you a large brand looking to explore a bigger partnership? We’d love to work together to create a partnership that honors the Black community. This submission form is for individuals & community-level organizations. For large brands, please inquire via email for pricing at blkeventsla@gmail.com.

- I will send events in as advanced notice as possible in accordance with all deadlines.
- I understand that due to the incredible amount of submissions, BLK Events LA will only reach out to confirm paid promotions.
- I understand that for all paid promotions, payment is due in full via invoice after your request is confirmed.

Double-check your submission! Paid promotions will be scheduled in advance, and free promotions are announced the week of the event. For paid promotions, please allow at least 2-3 business days for BLK Events LA to follow up over email. Pricing is discretionary and subject to change at any time.
