2026-2027 Bible Course Consent Form

* NOTE: Bible 101 is not a prerequisite for Bible 102. Students can enroll in both courses during one school year if their academic schedule allows.

I certify that I, the parent/legal guardian of the student listed above, give permission for my teenager (above student) to participate in the online course program of Christian Learning Centers of Greenville County. I also give consent for the school (selected above) to provide a copy of the information checked above as it relates to my student's school situation. My teenage and/or other members of my family may be identified, photographed, and/or interviewed by or on behalf of this organization. These may be used by the media, in social media, the organization's newsletter, and/or other print and digital communications. (If you prefer your child not be photographed, please select the appropriate answer under "Preferences" below.

No, I do not wish that my child be photographed. I would like to opt out of receiving CLC eNews emails. (NOTE: Parent may be contacted by email with information pertaining to the student.

• Online courses are offered virtually.

• There is no cost to enroll in the course, including needed software.

• Students are responsible for providing their own device and internet access.

• A personal student email address will be required for the student’s course set up by Christian Learning Centers of Greenville County (CLC), the entity offering the Released-Time Christian Education online Bible course.

• The student registration deadline for CLC online courses is January through April of the current year. Enrollments must be approved by the school counselor.

   

   

• After approval, all student work must be completed in a timely manner.

• Parents will receive progress updates regularly throughout the semester. Parents are encouraged to monitor their student’s progress to make sure all assignments are completed on time.

• The parents/guardians understand that no public funds are expended, and no school personnel members are involved with providing the instruction.

• Students may be required to attend approximately four site events and participate in a service-learning project.

• Up to two Carnegie units of credit can be awarded toward the requirements for the receipt of a South Carolina high school diploma. One credit can be earned for completing Bible 101 and one credit for completing Bible 102.

• The courses will be graded, and final grades will affect students’ GPA scores.
