"THE INTERSECTION" by Springfield Cultural Partnership: Open February - April 2026 in Tower Square
We’re inviting artists, nonprofits, businesses, and community groups to host programs, workshops, performances, or installations that bring people together in YOUR downtown Springfield while creating space for residents to learn about community resources and advocate for their rights.
If you’d like to get involved, please complete the form below and we will be in touch to discuss your proposal.
Civic engagement is how we come together, through art, dialogue, and shared action, to shape the place we call home. At SCP, it is where culture meets community, making civic life visible, creative, and open to everyone.
Stipends Available for Civic Community Programming
Modest stipends will be offered for workshops, performances, and other programming that are free and open to the public. This support is meant to help artists and organizations create inclusive, community-centered experiences in the space. PLEASE NOTE: the Gallery Wall will be programmed through the call for art.
Free In-Kind Space (No Stipend)
The space can also be reserved at no cost for activities such as artist exhibits, vendor markets, information sessions, meetings, networking, and community gatherings. Other in-kind supports may be available. Priority will be given to activities that promote making making civic life visible, creative, and open to everyone. You are also welcome to pop-in and hang out during open hours.
