Station of the Year Nomination Form

TAB will recognize a TAB Member Radio and Television station for outstanding achievement during the 2025 calendar year.

All aspects of a station’s operation will be considered, including:

1. Coverage of breaking news regarding major events of local interest and insightful reporting on extreme emergencies
2. Daily reporting and programming addressing critical needs of their local community
3. Change-making investigative journalism at the local or state level over the preceding five years
4. Year-round support of local public service, educational or charitable endeavors
5. On-air engagement of local community leaders and elected officials
6. Recognition from public policy entities and industry and community groups
7. Adoption of technological innovations in the delivery of programming and public service to their local community
8. Engagement in TAB activities addressing industry and public policy concerns, as well as statewide matters of public interest

Entries should not exceed a five (5) minute montage video or audio package and any supporting photos, documents and narratives detailing the station’s service.

Entries are judged by a committee of former broadcasters.

Awards are presented at the TAB Show.
