Hide & Sniff: Building Engagement Through Nose Work Games

We are continuing our Hide ‘n Sniff classes for another series! This is a wonderful chance to Unleash your dog’s natural superpower—their nose! This playful class provides an environment for you and your pup to enjoy sniffing games designed to strengthen your bond and keep your dog’s mind happily engaged.

Whether you have taken the class before, or you have just started exploring scent work, in Hide & Sniff, you’ll learn friendly games that tap into your dog’s natural desire to sniff, search, and explore. By hiding treats around the room, playing “find it,” or setting up little nose work challenges, these activities provide enrichment, build confidence, and bring out your dog’s inner sniffing hound.

No prior training or experience is needed. Just bring your pup, their favorite treats (high value, high odor works best) and a willingness to play! This class provides you the opportunity to:

Build Teamwork as you discover fun new ways to interact with your dog
Provide mental stimulation and enrichment
Build confidence in a shy or nervous dog
Encourage focus and problem-solving as searches become more advanced

HIDE 'N SNIFF TRAINING CLASS AGREEMENT
Hide 'n Sniff lessons will be held once weekly as agreed upon. There is a fee of $120.00 (one hundred twenty US dollars) due at the time of registration. I understand that my spot in class is only confirmed with my payment. I also understand that it is my responsibility to: 1) attend all classes in a timely manner, 2) know that make up classes are not provided, 3) Sycamore Lane does not provide refunds and 4) should I drop out, reenrollment credit is subject to the discretion of the training staff at Sycamore Lane.

All Dogs Sports Park, LLC reserve the right to drop from class any dog for just causes. Causes include, but are not limited to: illness or suspicion of illness, poor temperament of the dog, the inability or unwillingness of the handler or owner to follow instructions or to give the proper home practice time, or abusive treatment of the dog.

Owners must understand that there are certain levels of risk associated with off leash socialization and your dog may incur injury. Also, there is risk associated with your dog not being fully vaccinated. We take every precaution possible, but we are not held responsible should your dog incur injury or illness.

I agree to assume all responsibility and liability for any injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person, animal, or thing by the act of this dog while in or upon the Sycamore Lane training premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto.

I further agree to hold Sycamore Lane and All Dogs Sports Park, LLC owners, trainers, and employees harmless from any and all claims and liabilities of every nature which might arise from myself and this dog’s participation in the class or from any other cause.

I agree to provide current VETERINARIAN ADMINISTERED proof of the following vaccines prior to bringing my dog to class: RABIES, BORDETELLA, DHPP and CANINE INFLUENZA. I understand self administered or breeder administered vaccines are not accepted and by registering without providing proof, I waive my right to a refund should I fail to provide proof prior to the first day of class with my dog.

COVID-19 WAIVER
The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread from person-to-person contact from contaminated surfaces and objects and possible from the air. As a result, federal, state, and local governments and agencies recommend social distancing and has, in many locations prohibited the congregation of groups of people.

All Dogs Sports Park, LLC and Sycamore Lane Kennels and Farm cannot prevent you and/or your children from becoming exposed to, contracting or spreading COVID-19 while utilizing their services or premises. Therefore, if you choose to utilize All Dogs Sports Park, LLS’s and Sycamore Lane Kennels and Farm’s services and/or enter onto the premises of Sycamore Lane Kennels and Farm, you may be exposing yourself to and or increasing your risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK: I have read and understood the above warning concerning COVID-19. I hereby choose to accept the risk of contracting COVID-19 for myself and/or for my children in order to utilize the service of All Dogs Sports Park, LLC and Sycamore lane Kennels and Farm. These services are of such value to me that I voluntarily accept the risk of being exposed to, contracting, and/or spreading CoVID-19 in order to utilize such services and premises.

WAIVER OF LAWSUIT/LIABILITY: I hereby forever release and waive my right to bring suite against All Dogs Sports Park, LLC and Sycamore Lane Kennels and Farm and their owners, officers, directors, managers, trustees, agents, employees, or other representatives in connection with exposure, infection, and/or spread of COVID-19 related to utilizing said entities’ services and premises. I understand that this waiver means I give up my right to bring any claims including for personal injuries, death, disease or property losses, or any other loss, including but not limited to claims of negligence and give up any claim I may have to seek damages, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen.

CHOICE OF LAW: I understand and agree that the law of the State of California will apply to this waiver.
