  • We’re excited to partner with California Certified Shorthand Reporters in full compliance with CCP §2025 and Court Reporters Board (CRB) guidelines.

    At Depositions by Filevine, Our process is designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and compliance with California state requirements for freelance deposition work. 


    To make your reporting easier and smoother, Filevine’s proposed reporter rates are highly competitive and structured in compliance with California’s AB5 independent contractor guidelines.


    We process payments within 72 hours of verified transcript approval when you elect Filevine’s pre-approved standard rates.


    If you prefer to submit your own rate sheet, you must upload it below for review. Custom rate submissions will require additional approval and negotiations with the Filevine team. Because of verification and approval procedures for negotiated rates, invoices with negotiated rates are processed within 30 days of verified transcript approval.


    Selecting “Yes” to accept Filevine’s proposed rates ensures the fastest onboarding and 72-hour payment turnaround, while maintaining full alignment with AB5 independent contractor requirements. Please note these rates are only applicable for California events.
