This summer, Vermont Folklife partnered with Burlington City Arts to document their Pine Street Barge Canal Mural project. As a part of that work, we're interested in learning more about how Burlington residents thought about--and even used--the Barge Canal property over the 20th century.
In partnership with the Fletcher Free Library and Burlington City Arts, Vermont Folklife invites you to record your barge canal stories with us at the Fletcher Free Library on November 4th or 18th from 10am-12pm.
