  • Please use this form to fill out your level of interest in being booked on Durango Comedy's 2026 calendar of events. We accept all skill levels, from beginners to experienced pros, and are looking for potential slots from Opener (5m) to Headliner (up to 60m), & Hosts/Emcees.
  • IMPORTANT:

NATIONAL & NON-REGIONAL HEADLINING COMICS ARE BOOKED BY INVITATION ONLY. LOCAL & REGIONAL COMICS: YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR OUR 2026 SCHEDULE IF WE DO NOT RECEIVE YOUR SUBMISSION THROUGH THIS FORM. THANK YOU!
  • CRITERIA

Next are some notes and criteria of performer etiquette and expectations of set-lengths, etc. If you are a beginner, don't let this make you shy. We are interested in booking as many artists as we are able! Please read through these (7) criteria for our performers before completing the rest of this form.
  • 1.  Set Time & Show Flow

Stick to your time. Running over throws off the pacing and affects other comics.Consistently running long will impact future booking opportunities.
  • 2. Polished, Reliable Material

We’re looking for comics who have practiced and/or tested material that works in front of real audiences. Some new bits are fine, but you need to bring a set that already hits.
  • 3.  Material Appropriate to the Venue

While our audiences are all based in Durango, it is not a one-size-fits-all. Crowds can be different depending on venue, and comics need to adjust accordingly. We try to book comics who put their best foot forward in reading the room and make smart choices about their content and tone.
  • 4. Presence in the Scene

We prioritize comics who are actively working on their craft; doing mics, performing regionally, and/or honing their craft. We understand specific life circumstances can make it hard to participate - let us know if you are having any challenge with getting out to participate in our comedy community.
  • 5. Hosting-Specific Notes

Hosting is not the same as doing a set. You should be comfortable with crowd engagement, pacing, and setting the tone for the night. Keep the energy up, manage the room, and help the audience have a great time.
  • 6. Promotion & Community Investment

We expect comics in these roles to cross-promote shows when possible, not just the ones they’re on. Being part of the comedy community means showing up for others, not just taking stage time.
  • 7. Professionalism

Confirm your spot in advance, show up on time, stay for the full show (unless we’ve discussed otherwise), and treat venues, staff, and audiences with respect.
