  • Are you currently receiving a monthly retirement annuity from the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS)?*
  • Have you terminated all TRS-covered employment before your retirement effective date?*
  • Since retirement, have you performed any work for a Texas public school, education service center, or TRS-covered employer prior to this position?*

    This information is used solely to determine employer TRS-Care surcharge obligations.
  • Note: TRS and your employer cannot share or verify your health insurance enrollment directly due to HIPAA privacy rules. Your response here will be used only for payroll reporting to the Teacher Retirement System of Texas.
