Introduction
The Dick Lane Velodrome is operated by the East Point Velodrome Association, Inc. (EPVA), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run almost entirely by volunteers and a small, dedicated paid staff. Through a long-standing partnership with the City of East Point, the EPVA leases and manages the velodrome—overseeing programming, maintenance of the track surface, and overall operations. The city, in turn, provides support through mowing, facility upkeep, power, and lighting. This partnership has served the community well for more than 25 years. As we celebrate 50 years of racing and community at the Dick Lane Velodrome, we’re already looking ahead to make year 51 and beyond even better.
