2026-2027 BalletX Company Audition

VIRTUAL SUBMISSION
BalletX seeks passionate dance artists with a strong classical technique and diverse backgrounds. We will hold a company audition Saturday, January 31, 2026, 11:00 AM-3:00 PM at our Philadelphia studio on an invite-only basis. Dancers are invited to submit video applications to be considered for the in-person audition. Video submissions will remain open through the audition date. Due to the high volume of submissions, we will only follow up with applicants we believe are a strong match for the position.

To be considered, please submit your contact information, headshot, dance photo, resume, and audition video below. Audition videos should be a maximum of 7 minutes in length and must include classwork with pointe work, and contemporary ballet phrasework or performance excerpts also with pointe work.

Applicants must be currently eligible to work in the United States of America.

BalletX is committed to hiring artists with substantive ballet technique (including pointe work) and a desire to expand the vocabulary of classical ballet. We are seeking dancers who are artistically talented, diverse, and hardworking. BalletX is a non-profit organization and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religious creed, ancestry, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, ethnicity, or national origin.

Dancers are asked to submit an audition video, headshot, dance shot, and dance resume detailing their current and past dance training, years of study, and work/performance experience. The audition video must be submitted as a YouTube or Vimeo link. If your link is password protected, please include the password in the field below. Accepted file formats for the documents are as follows: pdf, doc, docx, xls, mpg, jpg, jpeg, png. Applicants who do not submit all materials will not be considered.
