Naturally PSL Conservation Corps Ambassador
  • Become a Conservation Corps Ambassador

  • Generously funded by the Trust for Public Land’s On Common Ground program, this pilot initiative brings together Port St. Lucie residents for six sessions to:

    • Activate underused green spaces in neighborhoods most in need of parks.
    • Foster meaningful connections.
    • Participate in nature walks, sharing stories and helping take care of the environment while learning new things!

This program is part of the City’s Naturally PSL initiative and will help design a resident-informed stewardship model for future neighborhood green spaces.

What should you expect as a volunteer participant?

    • Commit to attending at least six sessions, one to two hours each, from November through May. This will not be a typical meeting. The sessions will be fun-filled opportunities such as walking tours, community clean-ups, brainstorming sessions and environmental stewardship activities as you give back to your community.
    • Collaborate and connect with neighbors in this small cohort of residents selected because of your shared passion for public space, the natural environment, parks and meaningful greenspaces!
    • Complete a pre-participation survey and post-participation survey.
    • Help shape the future of environmental stewardship in Port. St Lucie!
