We are happy to provide two affordable options for your stallion to participate in the Glacier Chaser Stallion Incentive. You may donate a breeding to our stallion auction or pay a "Reference Sire" fee.
Auction Stallions - The stallion auction will open January 15th, 2026 and will close January 31st, 2026. Stallions must be enrolled no later than December 31st, 2025 to be in the stallion auction. Starting bids in the auction will be half of the stud fee (minus chute/farm fee and shipping fees if they are included in stud fee) OR $400, whichever is more. If the stud fee does not sell in the auction, we will run a "Buy It Now" campaign to offer the fee for sale to the public one more time for the minimum bid plus $75. If the stud fee does not sell in either campaign, the stallion owner will be responsible to pay for the Reference Sire Fee ($500) no later than May 1, 2026. We will connect you with auction winners after they have paid in full and all business regarding the breeding contract will be between the successful winning bidder and the stallion owner/agent.
Reference Sires - If you do not wish to donate a breeding to the stallion auction, you may pay a Reference Sire fee of $500 to enroll your stallion. Stallion will receive all the same benefits as auction stallions. You will receive an invoice after submitting the stallion enrollment form. Reference sires must be enrolled and paid in full no later than May 1st, 2026 for the 2026 program year.
