  • Jewish Community Foundation Camp Scholarship Application

  • The Milwaukee Jewish Federation’s Jewish Community Foundation awards scholarships to enable young people to participate in recognized Jewish summer overnight camp and summer Israel programs. Scholarships are awarded to Milwaukee, Waukesha and Ozaukee area residents on the basis of financial need. Students who have completed 12th grade are not eligible. Each family may apply for up to six kids per family. There is one application per family. All information will be treated with the strictest confidentiality. The Camp Scholarship Committee receives applications that are stripped of personal identity information so the applications can be considered anonymously. Only those applicants who fully comply with all of the instructions can be assured that their application will be reviewed by the Committee.

    Note that applicants will be required to upload a copy of the first two pages from the parents’ signed 2024 Federal Income Tax Return (1040 form) and the parents’/guardians' most recent W-2 forms.

    Applications must be submitted BY 5:00 P.M. ON Monday, MARCH 2, 2026. The Committee will not review any applications submitted after this date.

  • New Campers

    If the applicant is a first-time camper, check out the One Happy Camper website to see if you may be eligible for an additional grant with either One Happy Camper or BunkConnect: www.jewishcamp.org/one-happy-camper.

  • Note: If the camp/program that your child will attend changes after a scholarship grant has been awarded, or the length of the camp session she/he will attend changes, resulting in a decrease of your camp expenses, the amount of the grant will likely be decreased in proportion to your new camp expenses.
