    BC//BB invites you to a kosher community brunch and panel on Jewish history and the legacy of the African United Baptist Association (AUBA) in Nova Scotia, exploring shared challenges and opportunities. Moderated by Professor Solomon Nagler. Panelists: Joanna Mirsky-Wexler, President, Shaar Shalom Synagogue; Rev. Dr. Lennett J. Anderson, Senior Pastor, Emmanuel Baptist Church; and Deacon Melinda Daye, of New Horizons Baptist Church. New Horizons, founded in 1832 and long known as the “Mother Church” of the AUBA, remains a cornerstone of Black Baptist life in Halifax.
