RESIDENT HOUSE GUIDELINES
Each resident is responsible for following housing guidelines/resident agreement. Violation of house rules/resident agreement may result in termination from housing or infractions. The structure is designed to help individuals learn the importance of priorities and routines so they may be successful in recovery and life. These guidelines are enforced by R&R staff and Resident Leaders
By signing this resident agreement, as a resident of Rise and Recover, I understand that I MUST maintain a legal, drug/cannabis/alcohol- free lifestyle which will support my personal plan of recovery. I will actively be engaged in verifiable outpatient services & understand that I will be asked to provide verification and/or complete paperwork to confirm my participation. Rise and Recover Sober Living currently is unable to support housing for Residents with less than 30-days clean time. If your treatment provider changes your level of care or reports a relapse to us, this may affect our ability to house you.
Housing Duration and Rent Policy:
Rent for Rise & Recover Sober Living’s level 2 housing program is $75 per week. The first rent payment is due on the Friday of the resident’s second week in the program. Rent is to be paid online at www.rrsoberliving.com under the “Pay level 2 Housing Fee” Tab.
We understand that some residents may need assistance in meeting
this responsibility, and we have various community resources and programs we can refer residents to for help with rent payments.
The housing duration for Level 2 care is typically four to six months, allowing residents time to build stability, strengthen their recovery, and prepare for greater independence
Rise and Recover has a ZERO-TOLERANCE policy on violence. Our number one priority is the safety of our residents and therefore violence between residents has no place in our community. This policy extends to our stance on bringing weapons into the sober living which is that no item that has the distinct purpose of being used as a weapon is allowed into our properties.
Residents must treat each other with respect and support one another in recovery.
Residents must abide by the PDA code of conduct policy and sexual harassment policy regarding other residents and visitors.
Residents agree to report any inappropriate behavior between residents
Residents agree to not post about other residents on social media or share information about other residents outside of the home.
Residents and their belongings are subject to search at any point to maintain the safety and security of the property and its residents.
Commitment to IOP Treatment:
As part of the recovery program, the resident agrees to participate in Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) treatment and is free to choose which treatment program they would like to attend. This commitment is crucial to the resident's recovery journey and ongoing support.
As part of living a lifestyle of honesty and recovery, driving without proper insurance or license is not something we can tolerate at Rise and Recover. You will not be able to store a vehicle on R&R property without providing proof of insurance and a valid driver's license.
Residents are NOT permitted to leave housing before 6:00 am or return after 10pm without prior written notification to housing staff.
Residents must return to assigned housing before 10:00pm 7 days a week. Should residents miss curfew, they must report this incident to Rise and Recover staff via email or phone call or to the resident leader.

Residents are NOT permitted to sleep overnight on couches or in any other location other than their bedrooms in their beds. No TV, smoking, phones, or fraternizing is permitted during this time. Rise and Recover also does not allow leaving the property before 6:00am unless pre-approved.
All residents of Rise and Recover are subject to various types of drug testing to ensure continued sobriety and the safety of the other residents. These tests can include urinalysis or breathalyzer testing. A positive result could result in infractions up to and including loss of housing privileges. We reserve the right to involve emergency services as needed for safety.
Please understand that theft is a crime. Stealing or removal of any Rise and Recover property or property not belonging personally to the resident may result in a criminal charge.
As gambling is illegal in Ohio, except for licensed approved locations, we are asking that you do not gamble for money in any Rise and Recover facility. Please work with us and refrain from monetary gambling in our facilities. No gambling tables are permitted.
