6. Failure to sell your animal will result in forfeiture of the consignment fee. Scratched lots will result in forfeiture of the consignment fee. Substitutions will be subject to acceptance by the Screening Committed and will be permitted after the consignment deadline; however, the Consignor/Seller will be responsible for providing all relevant information (i.e., Original Registration Certificate, Transfer Application, Consignment Form, Consent Form, etc to Glendenning Fiesta Sale, LLC no later than April 25, 2026 (2 weeks before sale)
7. All cattle must be tested for interstate shipment. Each animal must have an individual Health certificate showing Brucellosis and T.B tests. Johne's tests is not required but highly recommended with a blood test (draw blood before TB injection) Cattle from certified-free states must still be tested for Brucellosis and T.B. All cattle must be tested within 30 days of the sale date. Health papers must be dated within 30 days of sale date. Serological test for Brucellosis and Johne's must be conducted in a State/Federal lab.
8. All cattle consigned to the Glendenning Fiesta Sale must have an identification tag that meets the approval of the State of Texas. Typically, cattle must either have a metal OCV ear tag (right ear) or an RFID ear tag (left ear The official identification number from the ear tag must be shown on the health papers. All female cattle 12 months and older without OCV will NOT be accepted.
9. Health Certificates must be presented at the time the animal enters the sale facility. Make sure your veterinarian clearly identifies the Private Herd Number and Lot Number of your animal.
10. Duplicate copies of the original Health Certificate can be used for each lot. Animals without complete health papers will be rejected, and all consignment fees forfeited.
11. Please be aware that the latest Texas health requirements do not allow for any latitude. Without complete health papers as per paragraph #7, and proper ear tag identification per paragraph #8, the Glendenning Fiesta Sale will not be able to accept your consignment. The consignment will not be unloaded from the trailer, and your consignment fee will be forfeited.
12. All females, 28 months or older, must be blood tested for pregnancy or palpated by a licensed veterinarian and pregnancy status written on the health certificate.
13. The sale chairman or his representative will visually inspect all cattle and health papers upon arrival at the sale facility. All inspections will be carried out with the utmost discretion.
14. The Glendenning Fiesta Sale assumes no responsibility or liability for any guarantee made by the Consignor/Seller. All guarantees are strictly between the Consignor/Seller and the Buyer. The Glendenning Fiesta Sale is not responsible for the health or safety of the animal consigned to the sale. This includes loss of life, loss of health, loss by theft or other perils.
15. Advertising in Viva la Fiesta! ad catalog is available. Full page full color ad and design are $500. Your payment must be received with your consignment fee. Ad design will be provided by Viva la Fiesta! ad designer. Ads will be accepted by other ad designers, at the Consignors/Sellers sole cost, and must be in the correct format and must be received by February 15, 2026.
16. Cattle check-in time is available Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and please no later than Friday, May 1, 2026 at 1:00 pm due to the Heifer Futurity judging beginning at 2:00 pm. All cattle must leave no later than Sunday, May 3, 2026 by 5:00 pm.
17. All Consignors/Sellers must comply with all the above rules and regulations and conditions subsequently passed by the Glendenning Fiesta Sale.
