Members of Visual Arts Mississauga (VAM) at Riverwood are invited to participate in our Member Theme Shows. Each exhibit gives emerging and established VAM artists, the opportunity to exhibit their work.
I Love Riverwood
November 24 - December 14, 2025

VAM invites artists to share artwork inspired by nature found on their visits in Riverwood Park.

Submissions due Thursday, November 13.

Artwork drop off Wednesday, November 19 to Saturday, November 22 from 10am-2pm
Artwork pick up Monday, December 15 to Wednesday, December 17 from 2-4pm

Please fill out a submission form per exhibition – one entry per artists per exhibition

Whether it was a walk at Riverwood, a captured floral, or even the barn, share how Riverwood inspires your work!

Exhibition space is limited to the first 25-35 pieces submitted, depending on artwork size.
Terms of Entry
- Adult members (18 years +) may enter one piece only in each exhibit.
- The work must be original and recent (completed within 2 years of exhibition date).
- Submissions must be 2-dimensional.
- Maximum size is (20 x 24 inches). NOTE: 24 inches is the maximum height per piece.
- Payment is ONLINE or by Phone. Entry information may be made with the payment online or by emailing exhibits@visualartsmississauga.com – please put the Theme Name in the Subject of the Email.
- At intake upon delivery, each piece must be exhibition-ready and properly wired by the artist (wiring must be attached). Works with faulty or poor wiring will not be accepted.
- VAM at Riverwood reserves the right to decline a submission deemed unsuitable for the exhibit: this includes work not dry; insecurely or improperly framed; work created with assistance, reproductions, or copies of another’s artwork (including instructor’s demos) and works inappropriate for our mixed-aged viewers.
- VAM at Riverwood will not be responsible for works during drop off, pick up, or those left after the pick-up date.
- All member artists must pay the entry fee to have a complete application. Payment can be made on the website or by phone 905 277 4313.
