THE THOMPSON LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
What is The Thompson Legacy Scholarship?

The Thompson Legacy Scholarship was founded by an alumni of Dale County High School, Alec Thompson, and his wife, Katelyn Thompson. Alec and Katelyn attended Auburn University with the help of scholarships and founded this scholarship with hopes to lessen the financial burden on other graduating high school seniors.

. The Thompson Legacy Scholarship consists of five, one-time, $1,500 scholarships awarded to high school seniors in the southeast Alabama region.

SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA

The guidelines for applying are listed below:
- Must attend a public school in any of the following counties in the southeast Alabama area: Dale, Houston, Geneva, Henry, Coffee, or Montgomery county.
- Must be a high school senior going to be a freshman in college.
- Four year university attendance preferred.
- We ask that you share your financial standing in your application.

The application must be submitted via the online form by March 13, 2026 at 11:59 pm.
