2026 Metro Vancouver Alliance Municipal Election Assembly
You are invited to MVA’s Vancouver Municipal Election Assembly
Wednesday, September 23rd, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
St. Andrew's Wesley United Church, 1022 Nelson St #100, Vancouver, BC. Our Alliance is ready to work with the next Mayor of Vancouver, no matter who gets elected. This is not a typical election debate or town hall. We’ve invited mayoral candidates to make clear, public commitments on 4 concrete proposals that address deeply affordable housing and climate - the concerns our members are experiencing in their communities. We must demonstrate a large, visible presence of our diverse power to show the strength of our alliance and the importance of the issues we are raising. Your presence is needed. Show up and make your support visible! If possible, wear your organization’s colours or logo. Bring your signs and banners to show the candidates how many groups are ready to work with them on these issues. Please RSVP below and bring as many people as you can from your organization or neighborhood. If you can’t make it on Wednesday, can you think of someone who could represent you and send them an invitation?
