Newa Charity Dharan 10K Run – Terms and Conditions
Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before registering for the Newa Charity Dharan 10K Virtual Run. By completing your registration, you agree to abide by these terms.

Registration

1. Registration opens on 5th November 2025 and closes on 12th February 2026.
2. No entries will be accepted after the closing date under any circumstances.
3. The registration fee is £15.00, which includes the shipping cost for your event medal and t-shirt. £1 processing fee will also be added.
4. All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Participant Responsibility

1. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure they are physically and medically fit to take part in this event.
2. The organisers accept no liability for any injury, illness, or loss sustained during or as a result of participation.
3. Participants under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian consent to take part.

Event Format

1. This is a virtual event, meaning participants can complete their 10K run anywhere at their own pace within the event period.
2. Participants must use a GPS-enabled tracking app such as Strava, ASICS Runkeeper, Nike Run Club, adidas Running, or any similar app to record their run.
3. Your recorded run must clearly show the distance (10K) and completion time to be considered valid.

Result Submission

1. Results should be submitted by 28th Feb 23:59 GMT.
2. Participants are required to upload their result link once the run is completed.
3. The submission link will be provided closer to the event date.
4. All results are subject to verification by the organising team.
5. Only verified results will be included in the final results list.

Rewards and Recognition

1. Once your result has been successfully verified, you will receive the official Newa Charity Dharan 10K Run medal and t-shirt via post.
2. Items will be shipped to the address provided during registration.
3. Please allow reasonable time for delivery depending on your location.

General Conditions

1. By registering, you grant the organisers permission to use your name, run data, and photos for promotional or event-related purposes.
2. The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the event schedule or terms if necessary, with notice provided via official communication channels.
3. Any form of dishonesty or data manipulation in run submissions will lead to disqualification.
