  • Michigan’s local governments are beginning to explore artificial intelligence (AI) to modernize services, automate workflows, and build digital capacity.

    We’re launching a Michigan Local Government AI Users Group to connect counties, cities, townships, academics, civic partners, and state agencies interested in practical, responsible use of AI.

    This group is focused on real-world applications, responsible governance, and shared learning.

    This short survey (3–5 minutes) will help shape the group’s structure, identify shared interests, and build the foundation for collaboration.
