2025 WINTER FOOD SECURITY DISBURSEMENT APPLICATION

Dear Band Members,

The enclosed application is for the 2025 Winter Food Security Disbursement.

The Winter Food Security Disbursement will be available and disbursed to each band member that is registered as of December 31, 2025. This year parents/guardians can apply for their eligible Sipekne'katik child(ren) 17 yrs and under (Minors), in their family/care.

The disbursement for 2025 will be $1,000.00 per registered adult Sipekne’katik member who is 18 years old as of December 31, 2025, and $300 per registered Sipekne'katik minor.

You can send your application by using the following methods:

Winter Food Security Disbursement's received by Tues Nov 25rd,2025 will be paid out by Friday December 5th,2025.

Applications received after Tues Nov 25th, 2025 will be processed for the following next weeks payment on Friday Dec 12th,2025 and then each week thereafter until application closes.

Applications close Friday January 30th, 2026

You have a choice of receiving your monies either by cheque or by direct deposit.

INCASE OF A CANADIAN POSTAL STRIKE

We are asking members to submit direct deposit information for Canadian members only. We are working on a solution for US Citizens. If you do not have a bank account please be aware that cheques will be late going out.
