Join WELCA's Winter Camp on December 29, 30, and 31
WELCA Registration: How it works!

1. Register up to 6 children on the "Step 1: Registration Form". Please reach out to info@welca.ca if you have any questions.

2. A link to complete"Step 2: Participant Information" will be sent after submitting Step 1. Every participant reqiures their own step 2 form submitted.

3. Step 3 is our waivers! Every participant will need a completed waiver ahead of time. The link to the waivers will be sent to you at the end of Step 2. You can also find the link on our website under our FAQ tab.
This year we have 3 camps to choose from and all camps run December 29th to 31st, 2025. Please select a camp below for more information!

Half-day Winter Camp
Who: Ages 4-8
What: A half-day camp for those at the beginning of thier riding journey. All riding is done on-lead, and campers cycle through stations including horse riding, equine knowledge, safety, games, and crafts.
When: AM and PM Options
Cost: $350 per rider

Full-day Winter Camp
Who: Ages 8-16
What: This full day camp is great for beginners and previous campers alike! Campers will ride independetly each day and have oppertunites to learn more about the care and maitinence of horses.
When: Runs all day
Cost: $500 per rider

Unmounted Winter Camp - Full-day (No Horse Riding)
Who: Ages 6-16
What: A full-day of horse learning and activites, participants will build confidence and familiarity with our equine friends in a safe and unmounted enviroment.
When: Runs all day
Cost: $200 per camper

Half-Day Winter Camp

This engaging 3-day camp offers children age 4-8 the opportunity to explore the fun experience of horses, while encouraging resilience, emotional control, and positive attitudes towards new challenges. We use a variety of activities on- and off-horse including games, crafts, and horse care.

Participants ride once a day and will be broken into groups after registering. If you want your child to ride with specific people, please put their names in the note section below and we will do our best to accomodate.

This 3-day camp runs either in the morning or afternoon:
Morning (AM) Camp: 8:45am-12:15pm
Drop off is between 8:45-9:00am
Pick up is between 12:00-12:15pm

Afternoon (PM) Camp: 12:45pm-4:15pm
Drop off is between 12:45-1:00pm
Pick up is between 4:00-4:15pm

Participants are encouraged to bring their own snacks (peanut free) and water bottle

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation can be requested via email (info@welca.ca). Credit for a future program will be offered up to two weeks prior to the start of your session and all cancellations will be charged a $50.00 admin and processing fee. No credit/refunds will be offered within two weeks of your lesson start date, or once the camp has started.

Program Requirements
Participants must be able to have two way communication with the staff and be able to remain balanced on the horse for the lesson. We do not provide leaders or sidewalkers. You can find information on the Little Bits Therapeutic Riding program at Little Bits Website

Unmounted Winter Camp - Full-Day

This engaging 3-day camp offers children age 6-16 the opportunity to explore the experience of horses in an unmounted enviroment (non-riding), while exploring self reflection, critical thinking, and positive attitudes towards new challenges. We use a variety of activities off-horse including games, crafts, and horse care.

Participants will be broken into groups after registering. If you want your child to ride with specific people, please put their names in the note section below and we will do our best to accomodate.

This 3-day camp runs all day:
Full-Day Unmounted Winter Camp: 8:45am-12:15pm
Drop off is between 8:45-9:00am
Pick up is between 4:00-4:15pm

Participants are asked to bring their own lunch and a water bottle
