The 23rd Annual Chocolate Festival Pro/Am Bake-off

2026 Pro/Am Bake-Off Application

I understand that I am entering two (2) cakes for the Pro/Am competition. I may enter as many times with two (2) cakes each, up to three entries. There will be two separate contests - one for Amateurs and one for professional bakers. I understand that Chocolate should be prominently featured in the recipe.

We will be receiving applications until February 5, 2026. You will receive an acceptance email shortly after our receipt of your application. Remember, applications can be submitted online or via mail SO please don't wait!                               To mail...print and complete and send application to:

Competition is open to all NC residents at least 15 years of age.

Judging will be based on four criteria: presentation, taste, use of chocolate and creativity.

PLATES WILL NOT BE RETURNED

Each participant will receive ONE free ticket to the Chocolate Festival, a picture of themselves holding their entry and a certificate of appreciation. Cakes will be received at the Crystal Coast Civic Center from 2:30-4:30 p.m. on Friday February 6. Judging will begin shortly after 5:30 p.m. 

      First place will receive $250, Second place will receive $100, Third place will receive $50 in each of the Professional and Amateur categories.

** $500 for most OVERALL POINTS in either category !!

First, Second and Third place in each category will

also receive a Carolina Chocolate Festival T-shirt.
