As dock staff, I have: 

1. Received authorization from the FBC reservationist for the member’s extended hours/overnight usage. Ensured member has following day(s) reservations booked in advance. 

2. Instructed the member on proper procedure and method for securing the vessel upon return at the designated FBC dock slip and/or other appropriate fixed, secure slip. 

3. Provided FBC towing service partner (e.g., Tow Boat U.S., Sea Tow) contact information to the member in case of emergency.

EXTENDED HOURS / OVERNIGHT USAGE

I understand that when taking a FBC boat for extended hours and/or overnight usage, I am subject to the rules and regulations of FBC plus the following additions to the rules and regulations:

1. I understand that FBC’s docks are closed from 5 PM – 8 AM Monday–Friday, and 30 minutes before sunset – 30 minutes after sunrise on weekends. Boats cannot be returned outside the hours of operation.

2. I understand that I am responsible for returning the boat in the same condition as I received it, and that I am totally responsible for any and all damage to the boat, even if the damage occurs at the dock, until the boat is checked-in by the dock staff.

3. I understand that I am responsible for docking the boat and securing the boat at the FBC-designated dock location before sunset.

4. Regardless of the cause, FBC is not in any way responsible to provide any service, including towing, outside of the regular dock operation hours. The member is totally responsible for any and all expenses incurred (e.g., engine, mechanical/electrical, normal wear and tear, etc.). The number for the appropriate FBC towing service partner has been provided to me by the dock staff, should there be an emergency.

5. I understand that operating the boat after sunset until sunrise is strictly prohibited and will result in termination of membership. I will dock the boat at a fixed, secured slip. I understand that FBC and/or FBC’s insurance carrier does not cover operation of the boat from 30 min before sunset to 30 min after sunrise.

6. I understand I am totally responsible for any and all damage and/or injury expenses that may occur until the boat is returned and checked-in at the designated FBC dock.
