Want to build confidence, communication skills & have fun? Have you heard about DSIDQ’s new program, Hear Me Out? It has just been rolled out in Brisbane, and we would love to bring it to the Gold Coast in 2026. Hear Me Out: Finding Your Voice Through Debate is a free new program from Down Syndrome and Intellectual Disability Queensland, designed for adults 18+ with intellectual disability. Through fun and supportive debate activities, you’ll build confidence, strengthen communication, and grow your critical thinking skills — all while developing your voice and sharing your ideas. The program was co-designed with people with intellectual disability, making it accessible, relevant, and engaging. You’ll take part in group games, partner activities, and interactive challenges, all supported by DSIDQ staff. When: Wednesdays, 9am – 3pm: Weekly from 28th January to 1st April.
