POSITION PAPERS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN MIDNIGHT, JANUARY 21, 2026.

Every paper is read and scored by several different readers.  The top papers are passed on to a final group of readers.  They read and score all of the top papers.  The Position Paper Chair then pulls it all together right before the conference and turns in the ranking of the best of the best.  It's a lot of time-consuming work!

That said, we are aware that the due date makes it hard for delegates who are preparing for GatorMUN to also do their best on their SWFLFUN position papers.  We are, therefore, willing to offer a short extension (to midnight January 28) for those delegates whose coach submits the form below no later than December 15, 2025.

By submitting this request, you are affirming that some or all of your SWFLMUN delegates will be attending GatorMUN.  Extensions will not be granted for any other reason.  

I hereby affirm that some portion of our MUN team attending SWFLMUN in March will also be attending GaterMUN in January and am therefore requesting that the students doing both conferences be given a one week extension (until midnight January 28, 2026) on the deadline for their SWFLMUN position papers.
