Project Story, Entry Materials and Requirements
The BIM story of your project is the most important part of the submission. In addition, the Tekla project/model folder is an essential part of the entry. High quality model images and photos help communicate your story.
Mandatory materials:
• The full Tekla Structures model folder and/or Tekla Structural Designer model (.TSMD)
• High resolution screenshots of the model (.PNG file format preferred)
• Rename your screenshots, give a description of what is being shown
Recommended materials:
• All IFC and additional reference models relevant for the project entry
• Video clips from the project: (visualisation clips, or any other content relevant for the project to be successful in the competition)
• High resolution photos or architect visualisations of the project (in any image format, 1000+ pixels in width/height or more preferred).
• Sample drawings of the projects (in PDF format)
• Any additional material - BIM execution plan, presentation, videos, media coverage you already have to make your project stand out
Copy the following files manually, into the submitted model folder:
• Profile database (profdb.BIN)
• Material database (matdb.BIN)
• Bolt database (screwdb.DB)
• Bolt assembly database (assdb.DB)
• Rebar database (rebar_database.INP)
• Parametric profiles (profitab.INP)
• Drawing Templates (*.tpl)
Alternatively, use any cloud or file sharing service you feel comfortable with (Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive) and provide a link where we can download your entry material.
