1. ASSUMPTION OF RISKS AND RELEASE. I recognize that there are certain inherent risks associated with competing in dog sports and assume full responsibility for the risk of personal injury to myself and further release and discharge the AWMA & Working K9 Schutzhund Club and its members, for injury, loss, or damage arising from my participation in 2025 AWMA & Working K9 Schutzhund Club activities. This Agreement shall bind the members of my family and my spouse, my heirs, assigns and personal representatives.
2. INDEMNIFICATION. I agree to indemnify and defend the AWMA & Working K9 Schutzhund Club as well as their officers and all property owners against all claims, causes of action, damages, judgments, costs or expenses, including attorney fees and other litigation costs, which may in any way arise from my use of or presence upon the facilities used for the 2025 AWMA National event.
3. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY: I shall personally assume all responsibilities and liabilities for any loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of my dog while participating 2025 AWMA &Working K9 Schutzhund Club activities or while on stadium grounds, tracking fields, training grounds or surrounding area thereto. I also agree to be fully and solely responsible for the actions of myself and my dogs. “My dog” means any dog in my custody upon approaching event grounds or adjacent areas.
4. APPLICABLE LAW. Any legal or equitable claim that may arise from participation in the above shall be resolved by Florida law. I agree that if any portion of this agreement is invalid or unenforceable the remainder will continue in full force and effect.
By entering I HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT FULLY AND UNDERSTAND I WILL GIVE UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY PARTICIPATING IN OR ATTENDING ANY EVENT(S) IN THIS PREMIUM LIST, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER I SIGN A DOCUMENT.

All participants understand that the AWMA has no control over extreme weather, acts of God, acts of terrorism, governmental intervention, or any other cause that may prevent, alter or interrupt the event weekend. We will not refund fees due to extreme weather, acts of God, acts of terrorism, or governmental intervention. Announcements regarding cancellation of the event will be made on the event Facebook page.
