Quick checklist before filming
✅ Camera on right-arm bowling side (same side for all bowlers)
✅ Pan smoothly to cover full run-up → followthrough
✅ Bowler ~50% of frame, full body visible
✅ Slow-motion / high-FPS, stable video, good light
✅ Make sure that no object or person obstructs the bowler from run up till followthrough
Step-by-step filming instructions
1. Set the camera position
Stand side-on to the bowler on the bowling-arm side. The camera should be near the release area and far enough back to capture the bowler's full body.
2. Record in slow motion
Use high-FPS or slow-motion mode wherever possible. This improves frame selection and movement analysis.
3. Take the video
Start with the bowler visible at the start of the run-up. Follow the bowler from run-up to follow-through in one smooth movement, make sure their entire body is visible. Avoid jerky pans or sudden zoom changes.
4. Check the clip before sending
Make sure the full action is visible, lighting is clear, and nobody crosses in front of the camera.
