Le Concours International de Chant des Grandes Voix d'Opéra d'Afrique est une initiative inédite d'Africa Lyric's Opéra qui vise à détecter et accompagner les futurs talents lyriques, promouvoir l'insertion des artistes pré-professionnels d'origine africaine et afrodescendante et valoriser l'Opéra dans sa diversité.
La 5è édition 2026, qui proposera 3 catégories (jeune espoir, amateur et semi-professionnel), vise +200 candidats à travers toute l'Afrique et le monde. Les artistes sélectionnés se retrouveront à Paris pour une compétition qui aura lieu les 05-07 mars 2026 à l'Athénée Théâtre, devant un jury de haut niveau.
The International Song Contest of the Great Opera Voices of Africa is an unprecedented initiative of Africa Lyric's Opera which aims to detect and support future Opera talents, promote the integration of pre-professional artists of African and Afrodescendant origin and promote the Opera in its diversity.
The 5th edition 2026, which will offer 3 categories (young lyrical hopeful, amateur and semi-professional), targets +200 candidates across Africa and the world. The selected artists will meet in Paris for a competition which will take place on March 05-07, 2027 at the l'Athénée Théâtre, in front of a high-level jury.
